Tragic Death of Florida Toddler Left in Hot Car by Parents.

A Florida couple has been charged with child neglect, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after leaving their 2-year-old daughter in a car overnight, resulting in her death. The parents initially claimed they found the child unresponsive in their home, but the police became suspicious when they noticed the child's high temperature. The investigation revealed that the parents left the sleeping toddler in the car for 14 hours and returned to find her unresponsive. Methamphetamine, marijuana, CBD gummies, and drug paraphernalia were discovered in their home. An average of 38 children die each year in hot cars, according to advocacy group Kids and Cars.
