Tragic Consequences: Father and Son Face Charges in Fatal Shooting of 13-Year-Old Girl

A 14-year-old boy in New Mexico has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting and killing a 13-year-old girl with one of his father's guns. The boy pointed the gun at the girl and fired during a gathering at his home, then dragged her body outside before returning inside. His father, William Brown, was also charged for negligently making a firearm accessible to a minor resulting in death. After a 30-minute standoff with state police, both father and son were arrested. The incident is under investigation, and the victim's name has not been released.
