An 18-year-old mother in Alabama, Jakayla Ashanti Williams, has been arrested and charged with capital murder after throwing her newborn baby into a dumpster equipped with a trash compactor. The baby was found deceased in a landfill, and investigators believe the child was alive when Williams discarded him. Williams admitted to disposing of her child, stating that she did not want to be a mother.
