Tragedy Strikes Philadelphia Airport: Officer Killed, Another Injured

A Philadelphia police officer was killed and another was injured in a shooting at Philadelphia International Airport parking garage. The officers noticed individuals breaking into a vehicle and were shot at as they approached. One officer was shot multiple times and pronounced dead, while the other officer is in stable condition. The suspects fled in a Dodge Durango, and an 18-year-old who was dropped off at a hospital may be connected to the incident. It is unclear if officers fired their weapons, and a gun is missing from one of the officers. This comes a week after three police officers were shot in Northeast Philadelphia.
