Tinley Park community reeling after tragic shooting claims lives of mother and three daughters

A man connected to the shooting deaths of a Tinley Park woman and her three adult daughters has not been charged yet, with police describing the incident as a result of domestic violence. The victims, of Palestinian descent, were identified as Majeda Kassem, 53, Halema Kassem, 25, Zahia Kassem, 25, and Hanan Kassem, 24. Domestic violence experts were assembled for a news conference to address the issue, and counseling services were offered to first responders.
