Thanksgiving Eve Shootings Claim Two Lives on Canal Street

Two separate shooting incidents on Canal Street in New Orleans on Thanksgiving Eve resulted in two fatalities and one injury. The first incident involved two gunshot victims, one of whom was taken to the hospital by EMS and the other arrived via private means. In the second incident, a male victim was transported to the hospital. Both the victim from the first incident and the male victim from the second incident were pronounced dead at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
