Texas Mom Leaves Young Children Alone for Days to Go on Cruise

A Houston mother has been charged with abandoning her two young children with intent to return after allegedly leaving them home alone for days to go on a cruise. The children, aged 8 and 6, were found in a disheveled apartment during a welfare check, and it was reported that the mother had used a video camera to monitor them remotely. The mother was arrested and the children were released into the custody of their aunt.
