Texas Cheerleader Survives Shooting After Mistakenly Entering Wrong Car.

Payton Washington, a Texas cheerleader, has spoken out for the first time since being shot in April after her friend accidentally opened the door of the wrong car. Pedro Tello Rodriguez Jr., 25, allegedly approached the vehicle with the cheerleaders and opened fire, injuring two of them. Washington was shot three times and underwent a series of lifesaving procedures. Rodriguez has been charged with deadly conduct, a third-degree felony, and is currently released on bail. Washington said she's committed to getting her life back and won't dwell on the past.
