Texas Cheerleader Overcomes Shooting After Friend's Mistake.

Texas cheerleader Payton Washington was shot three times after a friend accidentally got into the wrong car in April. She was critically injured but managed to keep her friends calm. The shooter, Pedro Tello Rodriguez Jr., was charged with deadly conduct and released on a $100,000 surety bond. Washington has made great strides in her recovery and was able to attend her high school graduation. She is determined to return to cheer and tumbling this summer and attend Baylor University in the fall.
