Tennessee Manhunt: Deputy Killed, Another Injured

A manhunt is underway in east Tennessee for 42-year-old Kenneth Dehart, who is suspected of fatally shooting a sheriff’s deputy and injuring another during a traffic stop. The Blount County Sheriff’s Office has issued warrants for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous, and a $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his capture. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide blue alert for Dehart and is assisting in the search.
