Tennessee Man Attempts to Enroll in Michigan High School to Pursue Minor

A 21-year-old man from Tennessee attempted to enroll at a high school in Mason County, Michigan, in order to date a minor, prompting the school employee to alert the Sheriff’s Office. The man had allegedly met a student from the school online and traveled from Tennessee to Michigan to meet the victim. He has been identified as Kevin Flick and faces charges including child sexually abusive activity and possession of child sexually abusive material. Sheriff Kim Cole urged parents to discuss online safety with their children, and the suspect's name and mugshot will be released pending arraignment.
