Teens arrested for killing and eating beloved swan in New York village.

Three teenagers from Syracuse, New York, have been charged with felony grand larceny and criminal mischief, as well as misdemeanors conspiracy and criminal trespass, after allegedly killing a swan named Faye and eating her. The teens also stole Faye's four cygnets from the Manlius Swan Pond. The juveniles reportedly believed the swan was a large duck and did not realise she was property of the village of Manlius. The town is looking into increasing security measures at the pond in the wake of the incident.
