Teen charged with murder in suspected fentanyl overdose of high schoolers, parents warned of substance abuse signs.

A 17-year-old girl has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and possession of a controlled substance after two teen girls died of suspected overdoses at Fayette-Ware High School. The surviving girl was also charged with the deaths of her classmates after being released from the hospital. Preliminary reports indicate that Fentanyl was found at the scene. The county has seen an alarming increase of drug overdoses, and the district attorney said they are working to provide drug prevention programs to help reduce overdoses for adults as well as kids.
