Teacher Arrested for Sexual Misconduct with Student, According to Cornelius Police

A 26-year-old teacher at Southlake Christian Academy in Cornelius, North Carolina, has been arrested and charged with felony sexual acts with a student and indecent liberties with a student. The teacher, Tyler Dean Melton, was investigated by the Cornelius Police Department after allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a student. Melton turned himself in and was issued a $10,000 unsecured bond.
