Tampa Serial Killer Pleads Guilty to 4 Murders.

Howell Donaldson III, accused of killing four people in Seminole Heights, Tampa, in 2017, pleaded guilty to four counts of murder and was sentenced to life in prison. The victims were seemingly unconnected and were each killed while walking alone at night within a half-mile area. Donaldson was connected to the murders through cell phone location data and a firearm he purchased, which was connected to the first three murders. Prosecutors had previously sought the death penalty if the case had gone to trial.
