"Taco Bell Worker Shoots Armed Robber in Akron, Suspect Hospitalized"

An attempted armed robbery at a Taco Bell in Akron resulted in an exchange of gunfire between the robber and an employee. The 35-year-old suspect, who had robbed the restaurant and shot at the worker, was hit in the upper body when the employee returned fire. The suspect is now in serious but stable condition at a hospital, while the employee was unharmed. A 33-year-old accomplice who drove the suspect to the hospital has been detained and charged with robbery. The incident is still under investigation by the Akron Police Department.
