Suspect in Fatal East Wichita Shooting Apprehended by Police

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with a deadly shooting in east Wichita. The shooting resulted in the death of a 17-year-old who sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper chest. Another individual, a 21-year-old, arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand. The victims had an "encounter" before the shots were fired. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
