Suspect in Custody for Death of Neurosurgeon Devon Hoover

A person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the killing of Detroit neurosurgeon Devon Hoover, who was found dead in his home on Sunday. The individual is being held on charges unrelated to the doctor's death, according to Detroit Police Chief James White. Hoover and the person of interest knew each other, but White declined to comment further on their relationship. The killing was not a random act, and detectives are heading in the right direction, White said.
