Suspect Dead After Hours-Long Standoff Shuts Down 91 Freeway in Anaheim

Efrain Quezada, a 40-year-old from La Puente, was identified as the suspect in an hourslong standoff that shut down the 91 Freeway in Anaheim. Quezada led police on a chase from Corona to Anaheim, stopping his car and causing a complete freeway closure. He died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after being wanted for stalking, criminal threats, and violating a restraining order for domestic violence.
