Subway Track Shoving Incidents in NYC

A homeless woman shoved a New York City high schooler onto subway tracks in Queens while she was heading to get her hair done for prom. The teenager suffered a cut on her left knee but was able to attend the prom after foregoing a hospital visit for a trip to the beauty parlor. The attacker was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and assault. The incident left the victim afraid of riding the subways again, and her mother called on the city to do more about the homelessness problem in the subways.
