Stolen LADWP vehicle leads to dramatic arrest and standoff in Atwater Village

A man driving a stolen Los Angeles Department of Water and Power SUV was arrested after a lengthy pursuit and standoff in Atwater Village. The chase began after an assault with a deadly weapon report, and the driver refused to yield. The standoff ended when the driver was shot in the leg by officers. Three officers were injured during the incident.
