State Rep. Comey arrested for DUI after rollover crash.

Connecticut State Representative Robin Comey was taken into custody by Hartford police after a rollover crash on Capitol Avenue. She was seen taking a field sobriety test and was later handcuffed. Police sources say she was charged with driving under the influence, but no official release has been issued by the department with formal charges at this time. Comey is a Democratic representative and member of the House leadership, serving as Assistant Majority Whip. This is not the first time she has been involved in an incident related to alcohol consumption.
