Standoff in Clarksville: Officers shot, suspects killed, hostages injured

Four officers were shot and injured, and two suspects were killed during a shootout in Clarksville, Tennessee. The officers were attempting to execute arrest warrants for two brothers involved in an aggravated burglary. The suspects barricaded themselves inside an apartment with a hostage, and after hours of failed negotiation, a confrontation ensued when the officers entered the apartment. The exchange of gunfire resulted in the deaths of the suspects, while the officers and the hostage sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation will continue to investigate the incident.
