Special treatment for woman accused of drunk driving in fatal wedding night crash

A South Carolina woman accused of killing a bride and seriously injuring the groom in a drunken crash received special treatment in jail, including in-person visits with family members, according to reports. The sheriff reportedly became involved in Jamie Lee Komoroski's treatment after her family reached out. Komoroski faces charges of felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury or death and reckless homicide. The groom has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Komoroski and 15 other defendants, mainly bars and LLCs.
