Spate of Random Attacks in NYC Leaves Victims Injured and Arrests Made

A homeless man in the Bronx has been arrested for randomly attacking and slashing a man and a woman in separate incidents. The assailant knocked a man to the ground, struck him with an unknown object, and attempted to gouge his eyes before fleeing. He then slashed a woman in the forehead and fled the scene. Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. In a separate incident in Lower Manhattan, a 65-year-old man was slashed in the face. The suspect in that case remains at large.
