Spate of Overnight Robberies Plague Northwest Side, Police Investigate

Chicago police are investigating three separate armed robberies that occurred within 30 minutes on the Northwest Side. The incidents involved two to three men and a silver sedan. In each case, the suspects used handguns to demand victims' property. One victim was assaulted, but no injuries were reported during an exchange of gunfire between a 24-year-old man and the suspects. Police are currently investigating and no suspects are in custody.
