Son Arrested for Brutal Decapitation of Mother in Ocean City

Jeffrey Surgent, a 46-year-old man from Ocean City, New Jersey, has been charged with decapitating and killing his 74-year-old mother, Alexandria Surgent. Surgent called 911 to confess the crime, stating that he had bipolar disorder. When police arrived at the scene, they found Surgent lying naked on top of his mother's decapitated body. He has been arrested and charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
