Sniper Ends Hostage Standoff with Fatal Shot at Florida Bank

A suspected bank robber, Sterling Ramon Alavache, holding two hostages at knifepoint inside a Florida bank was shot and killed by a law enforcement sniper during a standoff. The 36-year-old had a long criminal history, and during the incident, he claimed to have a bomb and put a knife to a hostage's throat. The SWAT sniper shot and killed him when he presented deadly force, and both hostages are safe.
