Shelter-in-place ordered after police officer shot in eastern Kentucky.

A police officer was shot in the arm in Olive Hill, Kentucky, and was airlifted to a hospital in Huntington. The suspect, who shot the officer from a wooded area, is on the run, and there is no physical description of the suspect at this time. Kentucky State Police has issued a shelter-in-place order for downtown Olive Hill, Mill Street, Tom T. Hall Blvd., and Route 2. The officer was not on a call at the time he was shot.
