Series of Security Incidents and Lockdowns Plague Modesto Elementary School

Stanislaus County officials have warned parents of a fourth attempted luring incident near Fairview Elementary School in Modesto, California. The incident occurred during the lunch period when a man tried to talk to students through the fence. School staff intervened, and the man walked away before the police arrived. This incident follows three previous attempted kidnappings near the school. Authorities are increasing patrols and advising parents to ensure their children know how to dial 911, avoid remote areas, and not wait alone at bus stops for extended periods of time.
