Serial Sexual Assaulter Arrested in DC for Multiple Attacks

A man, Christopher Joseph Sharp, allegedly committed six sexual assaults over two days in Washington, D.C., including a violent attack that was interrupted by bystanders. Sharp was initially arrested for three groping-type offenses but was released on a promise to return for trial. Shortly after his release, he allegedly assaulted two more women outside the hospital where he was hospitalized the previous day. Later, he violently attacked a sixth victim, lifting her into the air and attempting to strangle her. Sharp was arrested again and is facing charges of assault with intent to commit first-degree sexual abuse, kidnapping, and misdemeanor sexual abuse.
