Semitruck driver charged with DUI and manslaughter in deadly I-5 crash that killed 7.

The driver of a semitruck involved in a crash that killed seven people on Interstate 5 in Oregon has been charged with DUI, manslaughter, reckless driving, and assault. Witnesses reported that the truck had been weaving on and off the road before hitting a van with 11 people inside. Six people in the van were declared dead at the scene, and another person died while being transported to a hospital. The van was believed to be transporting agricultural workers. The driver of the other truck involved in the crash was not injured.
