Seattle community activist's suspected shooter held on $2 million bail.

The suspect in the shooting of Seattle community activist Elijah Lewis and his 9-year-old nephew has been held on $2 million bail after making his first court appearance. Lewis was known for his work with Africatown Community Land Trust and addressing gun violence. The shooting occurred after an altercation between the suspect, who was riding a scooter, and Lewis, who was driving a red Toyota Camry. The suspect allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot into the vehicle three times, killing Lewis and injuring his nephew. Charges are expected to be filed later this week.
