"School Bus Driver Arrested for Drunk Driving with Students on Board"

A school bus driver for Westborough Public Schools was arrested for driving drunk during her morning route with students onboard. The driver, Jane Welch, 51, was charged with operating under the influence second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and child endangerment while operating under the influence. The school superintendent expressed outrage and demanded an investigation into the bus company's procedures. Welch has been fired by her employer, NRT Bus, and is expected to face charges in Westborough District Court.
