Scappoose Murder Suspect Arrested After Deadly Stabbing

Court documents reveal that Rhiannon Amelia Meyer was fatally stabbed in Scappoose by Derek Lee Welter, a homeless man whom she had allowed to use her home for showering and laundry. Meyer's mother witnessed the attack and stated that Welter had been acting strangely, possibly due to past meth use.
