Ruby Franke, a popular parenting influencer known for her YouTube channel "8 Passengers," and her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt are set to appear in court on child abuse charges. The charges were filed after two of Franke's children were found malnourished at Hildebrandt's home. Franke plans to enter into a plea agreement during the hearing. Her attorneys argue that Hildebrandt took advantage of Franke and "systematically isolated" her from her family. Hildebrandt, a licensed clinical mental health counselor, voluntarily surrendered her counseling license following the charges. The women have been in custody since their arrest in August.
