"Rolex Seller's Facebook Marketplace Meet-Up Ends in Disaster"

A man selling a Rolex on Facebook Marketplace in Massapequa Park, N.Y., was robbed when the buyer sped away in a car, knocking the seller over and fleeing with the luxury watch. The seller, Steve Mauro, attempted to stop the thief by jumping onto the car's hood but was thrown off as the thief escaped. Nassau County Police are seeking information about the theft and are offering anonymity to potential informants.
