Riverboat Captain and Co-Captain Face Assault Charges in Alabama Dock Brawl

The riverboat captain who was attacked in a massive brawl on an Alabama dock is now facing an assault charge filed by another man involved in the incident. Dameion Pickett, the captain of the Harriott II riverboat, was charged with third-degree assault more than two months after the altercation. Montgomery officials clarified that they did not bring the charge against Pickett and considered him a victim in the case. The brawl began when a group of white boaters refused to move their pontoon boat to allow the riverboat to dock. Pickett is due in court on November 21.
