Respiratory therapist admits to causing fatal harm to patients in Missouri.

A former respiratory therapist, Jennifer Hall, has pleaded guilty to reduced first-degree involuntary manslaughter counts in the deaths of two patients at a Missouri hospital in 2002. The deaths were among nine patients who died in "medically suspicious" events while Hall was working at the hospital. Hall had access to deadly pharmaceuticals and notified staff of every patient's cardiac emergency. Families of patients who died during Hall's employment later sued the hospital for medical malpractice.
