Recent Shootings in Chicago Leave Multiple Dead and Injured.

William Hair was shot and killed in an attempted robbery while walking a friend home from a nearby bar in Lakeview, Chicago. He was one of five people shot over the last four days within a half-mile stretch of Broadway Avenue. Police do not believe the shootings are connected, but they have raised alarm bells within the neighborhood. The investigations into all three shootings continue, and police have increased patrols in the area for the remainder of the holiday weekend.
