Rapid succession of fatal shootings rock Over-the-Rhine community

Two separate shootings occurred in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, resulting in the deaths of a 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old man. The first shooting took place on Republic Street, where the victim was found critically injured and later pronounced dead at the hospital. The second shooting occurred at Cable House Lofts, where the suspect broke into the building and shot the victim inside a unit. The police believe the cases may not be random and are investigating potential connections between the incidents. No arrests have been made so far.
