"Proud Boy from Washington State Receives Six-Year Prison Sentence for Capitol Riot Involvement"

Marc Anthony Bru, a member of the Proud Boys, has been sentenced to six years in prison for his involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol breach. He was found guilty of multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including obstruction of an official proceeding and civil disorder. Bru was among the first to breach the restricted perimeter on the west side of the Capitol grounds and spent approximately thirteen minutes inside the building. He also attempted to organize a violent insurrection against the local government in Portland, Oregon. Despite his sentencing, Bru expressed no remorse and stated that he would do it all over again if given the chance.
