Pro Rock Climber Gets Life Sentence for Yosemite Sexual Assaults

Professional rock climber Charles Barrett was sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman in Yosemite National Park in 2016. Barrett, who has a history of violence and predatory behavior towards women, was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual abuse and one count of abusive sexual contact. Additional testimonies from other victims and Barrett's attempts to intimidate and silence them contributed to his life sentence.
