Portland police identify slain Radio Cab driver in heartbreaking stabbing incident.

Portland police have identified the cab driver who was stabbed to death in the Buckman neighborhood as 43-year-old Reese McDowell Lawhon. The suspect, 30-year-old Moses Lopez, has been arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail for second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon. Lawhon was a long-time driver for Radio Cab, who described him as a kind and dedicated cab operator who had been driving for over a decade and never had a complaint. The police confirmed that neither Lopez nor Lawhon had any connection to nearby homeless camps in the area after a preliminary investigation.
