"Porch Pirate Arrested for Injuring Officer and Fleeing in Car"

Ebony Gomez, a "porch pirate" from Jacksonville, Florida, has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses after stealing packages from New Jersey homes, fleeing the scene with unrestrained children in her vehicle, and injuring a police officer. Gomez was identified through surveillance footage and was apprehended by U.S. Marshals on December 11. She is facing charges of eluding, endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated assault against law enforcement, and theft of movable property.
