Police rescue kidnapped woman from U-Haul truck in Maryland.

A man from Prince George's County, Maryland, was arrested for kidnapping and assaulting a woman in a U-Haul truck during a day-long drive through the D.C. and Maryland area. The victim was pushed into the truck at a convenience store in Southeast D.C. and was threatened with her life if she didn't comply with the demands. The victim was rescued by the police after the truck got stuck in a ditch, and the suspect was arrested and faces 14 criminal charges, including first-degree assault, kidnapping, false imprisonment, fourth-degree sex offense, possession of suspected cocaine, and driving while impaired.
