Police Lift Shelter-in-Place After SE Portland Armed Robbery Search

Portland police lifted a shelter-in-place order in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood after searching for an armed robbery suspect who fled the scene and led officers on a brief pursuit before crashing a stolen vehicle. The suspect was later determined to be unrelated to the robbery, and the shelter-in-place order was lifted, although a police perimeter remained in place for further investigation.
