Police intervene in violent youth fights at San Francisco's Stonestown mall.

Multiple violent fights among dozens of children occurred at Stonestown Galleria, near San Francisco State University, gaining attention on social media. The mall plans to increase police presence after its security was overwhelmed. The police department is aware of at least three incidents and one child was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The fights have been happening during afterschool hours and particularly Wednesdays, early release days. The mall is collaborating with the San Francisco school district, the city and law enforcement to address the series of fights.
