Police Fatally Shoot Armed Intruder in Lancaster Residence

Lancaster city police fatally shot a juvenile male who broke into a residence after he pointed a weapon at officers. The homeowner reported the break-in after seeing it on her security cameras, and when police arrived, the intruder confronted them in the backyard. The juvenile died later at the hospital. The homeowner and her family did not know the intruder, and her back door was damaged during the break-in. The Lancaster County District Attorney's Office is investigating the incident.
