Police Body Cam Video Reveals Fatal Shooting Incident: Detective Injured, Suspect Killed

San Antonio police released bodycam video of a foot chase that resulted in the fatal shooting of a suspect, Victor Fernandes, in a Home Depot parking lot. During the chase, an undercover detective accidentally shot himself but survived. The other suspect was taken into custody. The video shows Fernandes running from police and reaching for a firearm before a single gunshot is heard, causing the detective to fall. Although Fernandes was armed, he did not fire any shots at the officers. He was shot multiple times by an officer and died from his injuries.
